You're measuring today for an accurate price — not for production. We always come to your home and re-measure ourselves before anything is made, so the final fit will be millimetre-perfect.
• Face fit: the blind sits on the wall, covering the whole window. Best for blockout and a clean, modern look.
• Recess fit: the blind sits inside the window frame. Best where the window cavity is at least 80 mm deep.
Not sure? Face fit is the safer default.
• Recess fit: measure straight across the inside of the recess — any convenient point is fine.
• Face fit: measure from the outside of one architrave to the outside of the other.
No deductions needed — we'll handle clearances for you.
If your window has no architraves, recess fit is almost always the right choice — head back to Step 1.
